Louise Ladene Walker

June 20, 1944 — September 30, 2022

Louise Ladene Walker was born June 20, 1944, in San Angelo, TX to Harold and Johnnie Wright of Miles, TX. Louise attended Miles schools for her education. On June 15, 1963, she married the love of her life, Johnny R. Walker. Louise and Johnny had two daughters, Brenda and Cindy. They were strong and loving parents. Louise and Johnny remained married for 47 years before Johnny’s departure for heaven in 2010. Louise and Johnny shared two grandchildren, Shane and Kaci Bacon. This was their true joy.

Louise worked at the Ballinger High School cafeteria for many years. She loved the students, and those she worked with. Louise loved her family and always gave her very best to see that they were taken care of. Louise was a true friend to all those that knew her.

Louise was preceded in death by her husband Johnny and her parents, Johnnie and Harold. She is survived by her daughters Brenda Bacon and husband Kent, Cindy Brosig and husband Mike, grandson Shane and wife Christina Bacon, and granddaughter Kaci Bacon, all of Dallas, her sister Dell Rouse, brothers Jim Wright, R.B. Wright and wife Jennifer.

Louise is in heaven and will be cherished and missed for the rest of our lives, though we know she is in the arms of Jesus.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., at Lange Funeral Home in Ballinger, Texas.  A funeral will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at 10 a.m., at the First Baptist Church in Miles, Texas with interment to follow at the Miles Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kindred Hospice of San Angelo.
