Lynda Gail Harris

Lynda Gail Harris, 64, of Ballinger, Texas passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 16, 2021.

She was born on March 26, 1957, to Robert James and Lawanda June (Hill) Harris Sr. in Houston, Texas.  After graduating high school, she went on to attend some college before settling into her profession as a bookkeeper.  Lynda was very active in her fellowship at the First United Methodist Church, serving with the United Methodist Women’s Club.  Later in life she became a member of the Genealogy and Historical Society and enjoyed working on her genealogical research.

Lynda is preceded in death by her parents Robert James and Lawanda June Harris Sr. and her brother Robert James Harris Jr.

She is survived by her daughters Janet Lannom and husband Keynon of San Angelo and Jessica Stein and husband Robert of Cleveland, Tx.  Lynda is also survived by her brothers Jerry Harris and wife Cathy and Kenneth Harris both of Houston.  She will be dearly remembered by her grandchildren Emily and Christopher and several nieces and nephews.
