Maria Graciela Chapa (Castillo) Aranda of Dallas, Texas fell asleep in death on Nov 7, 2024.
Maria was born in Rancho Nuevo, Nuevo Leon in Mexico and later migrated to Dallas Texas at age 14 where she later married and had 8 children. She was a hard-working, strong woman who single-handedly raised her seven children and lovingly provided and sacrificed much for them and was always there for them. Maria was and will remain much loved by her children and other friends and relatives. She was a Jehovah's Witness and therefore believed in the future Resurrection of humans who have also fallen asleep in death that is promised by God in the bible.
Maria was preceded in death by a child, Johnny Castillo II and her parents Enrique and Josefina Chapa and is survived by her seven children and their spouses., Sonia and Todd Clary of Ballinger Texas, Abel Castillo of Fort Worth Texas, Kathy Berrones and Robert Castillo of Ballinger Texas, Deborah Castillo and Byron Potter of Grand Prairie Texas, Monica Ramirez and Michael Hernandez of Arlington Texas, Elizabeth Castillo and Javier Flores of Dallas Texas, Johnny Castillo lll and Lisa Alvarez of Dallas Texas, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, 3 brothers and 2 sisters and longtime family friend that was like a daughter Tammy Glasgo.
