Marion Fred Green

Marion Fred Green, 82, of Winters, Texas, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, surrounded by loved ones. He was born on Thursday, June 22, 1939, to Robert Marion and Athol Zenell (Chamberlain) Green, in Laceyville, Texas in Nacogdoches County. He married the love of his life, Stella Louise Ferguson, in Ballinger, Texas on May 26, 1959. Together they shared 54 beautiful years before her passing on December 25, 2013. Marion worked in the oil field in many positions including as a driller, toolpusher, and truck driver. Marion and his wife raised their family in Alice, Texas Marion is preceded in death by his wife Stella Louise Green; daughters Stella Ann Green, and Mary Louise Dunn and son Robert Fred Green. He is survived by his daughter's Debora Shipley and husband Nelson Shipley of Austin, Texas, Carol Green of Leander, Texas and Tonya Osborne of Floresville, Texas. Marion is also survived by Sisters Joy Ralston (Don), Nelda Rouse, Susan Tex Green and brother Lloyd Green (BJ). Marion is also survived by three sisters-in-law, Ten grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in his honor. The family wishes to thank RN's Jinnifer and Bailey of Angels care hospice for your care and support.
