Monie Nuckles

Monie (Holt) Nuckles, 67, of Ballinger Texas, passed away Saturday, November 27, 2021, at her residence.

She was born on Sunday, September 12, 1954, to William and Joretta (Marsh) Holt in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She married Richard “Rick” Nuckles on November 19, 1972, in Colfax North Carolina.  Monie honorably served her country in the Women’s Army Corp from 1973 to 1975 and most recently worked as a Home Health nurse for Ballinger Home Health and a Nurse Educator for the University of Phoenix..

Monie is preceded in death by her parents, William and Joretta Holt.

She is survived by her husband, Rick of Ballinger, Texas, and her son, Cody and his wife, Jessica Nuckles of Sierra Vista, Arizona.

A visitation will be held for Monie on Thursday, December 2, 2021, at Lange Funeral Home from 1:00-2:30 pm followed by a graveside service at Evergreen Cemetery, in Ballinger at 3:00 pm.
