Norma Baker Mcfarland

Norma Baker McFarland, of Saginaw, formerly of Ballinger, passed away Monday, October 24, 2022, at Heritage Place in Decatur, Texas.

Norma was born on Wednesday, October 11, 1926, in Winters, Texas to Johnnie and Bernice (Smith) Baker. She married the love of her life, James Glen McFarland on July 6, 1945, in Ballinger and they enjoyed 69 years together before his passing in 2014. Norma loved being a Sunday School teacher and a member of the Saginaw Church of Christ.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; son, Kenneth McFarland; sister, Fadine Williams, and brothers, Jake Baker and Danny Baker.

Norma is survived by her daughter, Marcia Lyle of Keller; granddaughter, Mandy Smith and husband Jason; great-granddaughters, Regan and Siara; and brother, Randy Baker.

Visitation for family and friends will be held at Lange Funeral Home, in Ballinger, on Saturday, October 29, 2022. From 1:00-2:00 pm. A graveside service will follow at Old Runnels Cemetery, in Ballinger, at 2:30 pm.
