Olga Pauline Paske

Olga Pauline Paske, of Ballinger, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2019, at a local nursing facility.  She was 97.

Olga was born July 18, 1922, in Westphalia, Texas, to John Joseph and Hilda (Broad) Gottschalk.  She married Joe Paske and enjoyed being a homemaker and raising her family.  Living such a long life gave her the opportunity and the blessing of knowing and loving generations of descendants.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, four brothers, and two sisters.

Olga is survived by her children, Shirley Ashton of Ballinger, and Joe Paske and wife, Martha, of San Angelo; her grandchildren, including Liz and Eric Sherman of Ballinger, Michael Ashton and Lyle of Utah; several great-grandchildren, including Scot and Amanda Molina of New Braunfels, Justin and Kathrine Sherman of North Carolina.  Four great-great-grandchildren also survive, as well as a brother, Ruben Gottschalk.

Funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday, September 5, at 10:00 am at St. Mary Catholic Church in Ballinger, with burial following in Ballinger Evergreen Cemetery.
