Patrick Lloyd

Patrick Lloyd, 52, of Ballinger, went to be with his Lord and Savior on, Tuesday, February 2, 2021.

He was born on November 6, 1968, to George Lloyd and Nancy Brown in Ballinger, Texas.  Patrick was a proud Bearcat football player, joining the graduating class of 1986 from Ballinger High School.  After moving away to Dallas for several years, he had returned to Ballinger and was working as a security officer.  Patrick loved playing football, weightlifting, dogs (especially beagles), and all kinds of music, but jazz was his favorite.  He could make the best scratch-made banana pudding.  Above all, Patrick’s pride and joy was his family, who will miss him dearly.

Patrick is preceded in death by his beloved Grandmother Mattie Brown; his father George Lloyd; his uncle Freddy Brown; his aunts Jean Peterson, Bobbie Benson, Carolyn Balkum, and Janie Brown; and his cousin Cedric Benson.

He is survived by his mother Nancy Brown-Johnson and husband Claude, his sister Lisa Brown of  Ballinger, nephew Chris Brown and wife Desirae of Ballinger, niece Scharron Lewis of Arlington, niece Tamiqua Brown of Ft. Worth, his aunt Faye Brown of Ballinger, uncle Steve Brown of Ballinger, his only great-nephew Cason Brown, and only great-niece Kiyah Brown and a host of cousins and friends that will cherish his memory.

The funeral service for Patrick will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2021, at 2:00 pm in the Chapel at Lange Funeral Home with Lynn Smith officiating.  Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heart Association in Patrick’s honor.
