Patsy LaJean Geeslin

Patsy LaJean Geeslin, 83, of Ballinger, Texas, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, February 16, 2025. 

She was born on July 12, 1941, to Ned Decol and Mary Alvina (McDaniel) Whitlock in Dallas, Texas.  Patsy was a very loving and kindhearted person.  A hard-working woman, with a work ethic that was driven by her desire to be a provider for her family. She married the love of her life Floyd Eugene Geeslin on December 12, 1975, and together they shared forty-two years before his passing in April of 2018. Patsy doted over her family, dedicating selfless hours to ensuring her boys had everything they needed. She ran Dale's Lounge for many years and also worked as a seamstress for Levi Straus company.  An excellent cook, there wasn't anything that Patsy ever made that wasn't delicious.  Patsy was also a saved woman who loved and knew her Lord and Savior.  

Patsy is preceded in death by her parents Ned and Mary Whitlock, her husband Floyd Eugene Geeslin, and her brothers Teddy and Don Whitlock and son James Mathew Winchester.

She is survived by her son Charles Winchester of Ballinger; grandson, James Winchester; great-grandsons, Brandon and Matt Winchester; and numerous nephews and nieces.  She is also survived by Kathy Watkins.

The memorial service for Patsy will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 10:30 am at First Christian Church in Ballinger, Texas.
