Rita Kay (Kennedy) Rouse

Rita Kay (Kennedy) Rouse, 79, passed away on November 25, 2023.  She was born on March 16, 1944, to Martin and Merle Kennedy, in Winters, Texas.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Roland Rouse; her son, Cody Rouse (Jennifer) of Phoenix, Arizona; and her daughter, Robyn Balusek (Glenn) of Conroe, Texas.

Family members who preceded her are parents, Martin and Merle Kennedy and her brother, Kenneth Kennedy (Jean) of Sulphur, Louisiana.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m., at Lange Funeral Home in Ballinger, Texas.  Interment will be held at Old Runnels Cemetery in Ballinger, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grand Lodge of Texas Burkburnett, No. 1027, Burkburnett, Texas 76354, or to a favorite charity.  Interment will be held at Old Runnels Cemetery in Ballinger, Texas.
