Robert "Bobby" Eugene Ford

Robert “Bobby” Eugene Ford, 58, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 4, 2020, at his home in Ballinger, Texas.

Robert was born on September 20, 1961, to Ralph and Patricia (Bankston) Ford in San Angelo, Texas.  He married Veronica Valles on September 20, 2003, in Winters.  He worked as a welder, was a member of the Baptist faith, and enjoyed collecting model trains and building layouts

Robert is preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Patricia Ford.

He is survived by his wife Veronica; his sons Chris Rodgers of Temple, Texas, Chris Aguilera and wife Tamara of Ballinger, and Gabriel Aguilera and wife Jennifer of San Angelo.  Robert is also survived by his grandchildren, Serenity and Sean Rodgers, Lorelai and Barrett Aguilera, Emmy and Bella Glass, and Abel and Adam Aguilera.  He is also survived by his sister in laws Gracie Sanchez of Winters, Sandra Perez of Abilene, Vickie Ontiveros of Abilene, and Lorena Aleman of Stamford; and his brother in laws Randy Valles of Ballinger, Bo Valles of Winters, Bernie Valles of Winters, and Joseph Valles of Merkel.  Robert is also remembered by his very special friend, Lino Rivas from San Angelo, Texas.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Ballinger Hospice, especially the nursing staff and Michelle Aguilera, and the staff at Ballinger Hospital especially Dr. Bundrant for their special care for Robert during his time of need.

Due to the current COVID-19 Crisis the family has opted for Cremation for Robert at this time, a memorial service will be held at a later date.  At this time we recommend that you follow the guidance of the CDC for helping prevent the spread of the Coronavirus in general and suggest expressing your condolences to family, friends and loved ones without personal contact.
