Robert Cisneros Molina

March 7, 1943 — July 24, 2022

Robert Cisneros Molina, 79, of Ballinger, Texas passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Sunday, July 24, 2022.

He was born on March 7, 1943, to Fidel and Cecilia (Cisneros) Molina in Robstown, Texas.  He married the love of his life, Aurora Pena on October 10, 1964, at a private ceremony in Ballinger, Texas.  Robert was a man who worked with his hands, if he wasn’t wheeling and dealing for cars he was looking to work on, he was planning additions to his family home.  He loved doing mechanic work, tinkering, painting cars and could always be found outside.  In his early years, he enjoyed traveling to Nixon to see his parents and taking missionary trips through his church to Mexico.  Robert was a proud member of The First Baptist Church of Ballinger, where he served in his ministry as custodian for many years before succumbing to his illness.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents Fidel and Cecilia Molina, his son Gilbert Molina, brother Fidel Molina, Jr., brother-in-law Joe Carr, and sister-in-law Felipa Molina.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Aurora Molina, his son Robert Molina, Jr. and wife Tara of San Angelo, son Israel Molina and wife Renea of Washington, and daughter Debra Lugo and husband Luis of Ballinger, Texas.  Robert is also survived by his grandchildren, Scot Molina and wife Amanda, Miguel Lugo, Jacob Molina, Angela Molina, and fiancé Joe, Dana Lugo, Lauren Molina, and Larissa Lugo, as well as two great-grandchildren Jessica and Brittany Molina.  He will be greatly missed by his siblings as well, Alicia Enriquez and husband Eddie of San Angelo, Rachel Carr of Brady, Tx, Esther Molina of Bangs, Tx, Arthur Molina of Rowena, Tx, Ercila Smith and husband Erik of Brady, Celia Ramos and husband Isaias of Ballinger, Daniel Molina and wife Alicia of Odessa, Tx, David Molina and wife Becky of San Angelo, Tx, and Ana Molina of Brady, Tx.

A visitation for Robert will be held at Lange Funeral Home in Ballinger, Texas on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. His funeral service will be on the following day, Thursday, July 28, 2022, at 10:00 am at the 8 th Street First Baptist Church of Ballinger with Bobby Broyles officiating.  Interment will follow at the Latin American Cemetery in Ballinger, Texas.
