Ruby Janell Caulder

Ruby Janell (Robinson) Caulder, 69, of Rhome, TX, was born February 24, 1949, and went to be with our Lord Jesus on Wednesday, December 5, 2018, as a result of illness.

She was born in Ballinger, TX to George S. (Shep) and Gertude (Gert) Damron Robinson and attended Ballinger schools.  She was the youngest of four children.  She will be lovingly remembered by her son Michael Caulder, of Ft. Worth, daughter-in-law Cayla, and grandsons Aidyn and Logan, of Rhome.

Janell was fond of children and was a babysitter for many years. She delighted in caring for her grandsons in recent years.  She was an exceptionally creative person, excellent seamstress, and took great joy in sharing her talents by making crafts for friends and family.  She especially enjoyed attending the Robinson family reunion in Ballinger whenever she could.

She is survived by her brothers Donald Robinson and wife Frances of Rowena, and Edward Robinson and wife Betty of Eldorado, TX.  She also has a son Dwayne, of Pensacola, FL, granddaughter Brittany Cagle of Gurnee, IL, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a baby daughter, Ruby Wanda, her husband, Leonard Earl Caulder, her parents, Shep and Gert Robinson, and her sister, Wanda Jewel (Robinson) Davis.

She was lovingly cared for in recent years by her daughter-in law, Cayla Fudge, niece, Sherlene Robinson Bagley of Arlington, and dearest friend Evelyn Plunkett of Ft. Worth.  She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 4:00 - 6:00 pm on Saturday, December 8 at Lange Funeral Home, 1910 Hutchins Ave., Ballinger, TX.  After cremation, she will be buried beside her husband, Earl, in Bronte, TX.
