Steven Lavon Cochran

Steven LaVon Cochran, 58, of Ballinger, Texas passed away Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo, Texas.

He was born January 1, 1960 to Coy and Dorothy (Turner) Cochran in Slaton, Texas.  He served his country honorably in the United State Army.  After his military service, Steven began a career as a HVAC technician.  In July of 1999, Steven married Cynthia Matthews and they shared nineteen years together.

Steven is preceded in death by his father and a brother.

He is survived by his wife, Cynthia; his  two daughters, Ashley and Kimberly Cochran; his mother, Dorothy; his sisters, Valerie Carlisle, Robin Klaras, and Shelly Lerch and husband, Mark; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, March 27 at Old Runnels Cemetery in Ballinger.
