Thomas Alfred Freeman

Thomas A. Freeman, age 90, passed away October 27, 2022.

Tommy was the eldest of five children born to Frank and Mabel Wilkinson Freeman on August 23, 1932, in Christoval, Texas. He married Jo Anne Curbo on June 1, 1952. Six children were born to this marriage: Kay, Kathy, Darrell, Janie, Gail, and Laura.

Tommy retired from Angelo Pellets, Inc. and then went back to work for Buddy’s Plant Plus and retired a second time.

Tommy was predeceased by his parents, wife Jo Anne, eldest daughter Kay Gully, daughter-in-law Carolyn Ellison Freeman, eldest granddaughter Christie Gully and brother Ray Freeman.

Survivors are Kathy Morris, Darrell Freeman, Janie McNulty (Mark), Gail Weiland (Brian) and Laura Brandon (Carl). Tommy is also survived by son-in-law Jerome Gully, brother Jimmy Freeman, sisters Mona Taylor and Rita Baggett, as well as 14 grandchildren and families; Beverly Kiker, Kimberly Weidner, Kenny Godfrey, Jennifer McEntire, Justin Godfrey, Cayla Freeman, Tyler Freeman, Megan Green, Aimee Wright, Jonathan Nord, Johanna Weiland, Emily Fuller, Kristen Brandon and Sierra Wilson.

The family would like to thank Ballinger Healthcare and Rehab and Ballinger Hospice for their loving care.

A visitation will be held on Monday, October 31, 2022, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Lange Funeral Home.  A graveside service will be held the following day, November 1, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Miles Cemetery in Miles, Texas.
