Thomas Harvey Patton III, 53, of Ballinger, Texas, passed away on April 2, 2022. On June 11, 1968, he was born to Thomas Harvey Patton, Jr. in Duvall County, Florida.
Thomas, also known as Tom, was adventurous in his youth and adulthood. Camping and making huts with his cousins, deep-sea fishing in Florida, scuba diving at Blue Hole in New Mexico, canoeing down the Colorado River in Texas, and a variety of fun memories with his brothers, sisters, and friends. He especially loved fishing with his daughter on a quiet afternoon; Tom found adventure in every area he resided.
In 2001, Tom met the love of his life, Kerry Dawn Parcell, in Ballinger, Texas. On May 1, 2002, he and Kerry joined hands in marriage in a beautiful ceremony at their home. Tom and Kerry went on to have a beautiful and brilliant daughter, Sydney Shae Patton.
Tom was a hard worker and a resilient individual in adversity, and he provided an exemplary effort in every corner. Tom worked as a mechanic for the Galvan family for over 21 years and was a hard-working man. He dedicated his life to providing for and supporting his family, whom, above all else, he loved deeply. Intelligent, caring, sincere, resilient, loyal, and comical are a few adjectives that come to mind when describing Tom's character. He was a prankster at heart; he was joyous, humorous, and carried infectious laughter while also compassionate as he was witty. Tom had pride and unsurmountable love for his family. He idolized his father and adored his daughter Sydney.
Tom is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Harvey Patton, Jr. He is survived by his wife of over 20 years, Kerry, his daughter Sydney, his brother Alex Patton, sister Lori Patton O'Hara and husband Tim, brother Jeremy Patton and wife Rachael, sister Sabrina Mohney and husband Patrick and their daughter Aislynn, sister Sheila Patton, his mom Lynn Robin Patton, mother-in-law Irene Thompson, brother-in-law Jimmy Parcell, brother-in-law Alvin Parcell and wife Deborah and three children, sister-in-law Amanda Chavira and four children, as well as his work family Manny and Lisa Galvan and their children.
