Veronica Lopez Aviles

Veronica Lopez Aviles, 48, of Ballinger left her earthly home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, with her family by her side.

Veronica was born on October 26, 1975, to Antonio and Mary Ann (Fonseca) Lopez in Littlefield, Texas. She was a graduate of Olton High School and it was there that she married Roy Aviles and together they had four beautiful children. After moving to Ballinger in 2005, Veronica became very active with her church family at Jesus Christ Church, the Ladies Night Out, Women to Women Empowerment, and many other endeavors in the community. She leaves behind a legacy of love for King Jesus, for her friends, family, and the lives that she touched.

She was preceded in death by her father, Antonio Lopez, II., brother, Malachi Fonseca, and step-father, Ricardo Bosquez.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are daughters Synithia Aviles, Victoria Aviles and Tyler McBurney, Adrianna Ornelaz and husband Caleb; son, Roy Nasario Aviles; their father Roy Aviles; grandchildren Matthew McBurney, Loveli Ornelaz and Camille Ornelaz; mother Mary Ann Bosquez; brothers Antonio Lopez III, Domingo Lopez, Anthony Sauceda; Sister Yvonne Sauceda; and a host of friends that she loved like family.

A time of visitation will be held for Veronica on Sunday, February 11, 2024, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Lange Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 12, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Jesus Christ Church with Reverand Charlie Barnes officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Eloise Mares or Stella Gonzalez for Ladies Night Out in honor of Veronica.
