Viola Garcia

Viola Garcia, 53, of Ballinger, Texas, passed away on Friday, November 13, 2020, at Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo, Texas.

Viola was born on April 16, 1967, to Guadalupe Robert and Juanita (Rivera) Garcia in Houston, Texas.  She was the ultimate Grandmother and took great pride in loving and caring for her family, friends, and grandchildren.  Viola was well known for always cheering loud and proud at Ballinger Bearcat games, and also loved her Cowboys.  She was also baptized at Kingdom Streams Ministries.

She was preceded in death by her father Guadalupe, her brother Robert Garcia, and her infant son Christopher Daniel.

Viola is survived by her mother Juanita Garcia, daughters Lucy Vela and husband Robert of Ballinger, Susan Lopez and husband Guadalupe Mendez of Ballinger, and Irene Lopez and husband Javier Acosta also of Ballinger; sons Joe Lopez and wife Kealy of San Angelo, and Joel Herrera of Florida.  She is also survived by her siblings Rudy Garcia, Ruben Garcia, Gilbert Garcia, and Ophelia Gutierrez.  Viola will also be lovingly remembered by her 17 beautiful grandchildren.

A visitation for friends and family will be held for Viola at the chapel of Lange Funeral Home on Friday, November 20, 2020 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.
