Waldine Gladys Baron

Waldine Gladys Baron, 95, of Ballinger, Texas, passed away Monday, January 4, 2021, at a local nursing facility.

She was born November 14, 1925, in New Ulm, Texas, to Alfred John (“AJ”) and Edna Louise (Kuehn) Duve.  On October 6, 1945, Waldine married Joseph A. Baron, who preceded her in death in 1980.  She devoted her life to making a loving, caring home for her husband and their children.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband; her stepmother, Mickey Duve; and son-in-law, Douglas Warmke.

Waldine is survived by her daughters, Charlotte Werner and husband, John, of Ballinger, and Waldine Warmke of Sugar Land; sons, Joseph Baron, Jr. and wife, Karen, of Canyon Lake, and George Baron and wife, Karen, of Jacksonville, Florida.  Also surviving are seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and sister, Margaret White and husband, Kenneth, of Woodville.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Central Texas Nursing and Rehabilitation for their love and care of Waldine.
