William Ray Mullins

William Ray Mullins, 63, of Norton, Texas passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2020.

Will was born on Saturday, September 1, 1956, to Raymon Otis “Moon” and Betty June (Smith) Mullins in Ballinger, Texas.  He graduated from Ballinger High School in 1976 and was employed by Lange Brothers Gin in Norton. He loved his friends and enjoyed life.  He was always willing to help others and was a friend to all animals.

He is survived by his sisters Joan Marie Wagner and husband Garry of Sachse, Texas, and Ginger Kay Turner and husband Randy of Ballinger.  He also leaves behind his former wife Dickie Lynn Steen and his nieces and nephews Matthew and Evelyn, Tim and Cason Wagner, Jinna and Cody Waller, and Casey and Christina Turner.

The family also wishes to recognize and give thanks to Will’s special friends Doyle and Janice, Richard and Jean, and Anthony Lange.

A celebration of life will be held for Will on Thursday, August 13, 2020, at 7:00 pm at the chapel at Lange Funeral Home with Bob McDaniel officiating.

Due to the current COVID crisis, a recording of Will’s service will be available on his obituary for viewing later that day.

We recommend at this time that you follow the guidance of the CDC (wearing a mask, social distancing, sanitizing/washing hands frequently) for helping prevent the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and suggest expressing your condolences to family, friends and loved ones without personal contact.
