W.M. "Mck" Hartgrove

Winfield McKinney “McK” Hartgrove, Jr., 79, of San Angelo, Texas, passed away Saturday, December 2, 2023.

McK was born on Sunday, June 26, 1944, to Winfield McKinney, Sr and Ernestine (Belk) Hartgrove, in San Angelo, Texas. He was an Alumni of Texas Tech University and always had his guns up supporting the Red Raiders. He was a high school teacher for some time in Hamlin, Texas, after graduating from Texas Tech. He spent time overseas and across the United States working in the animal health industry. McK married Mary Ceretti on December 17, 1985, in San Angelo.

McK was an avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting, fishing, snow skiing, and most of all, ranching in Paint Rock, Texas. He was a Mason for over 50 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, McK, Sr. and Ernestine Hartgrove, and brother, Robert Hartgrove.

McK is survived by his wife, Mary; son, Jeremy Hartgrove and wife JJ; daughter Andrea Jordan; granddaughter Dylan Hartgrove; grandsons Carson Hartgrove and fiancé Kadyen Ellis, Alex Jordan; and his loyal companion, Petey

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at 10:00 am at Lange Funeral Home Chapel with David Currie officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Concho County FFA or your local FFA Chapter.
