George Thomas White

George Thomas White, 62, passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2023, at his home in Ballinger, Texas.

He was born on May 6, 1961, to Allen Lee and Janice (Davis) White, in Plainwell, Michigan.  After graduating from West Ottawa High School, he proudly served in the United State Marine Corps until 1983.

George married the love of his life, Rebecca Boone, in a ceremony in Muskegon, Michigan in October of 1992.  Together they shared over 30 beautiful years before his passing.  He was an incredibly smart and friendly gentleman; being well-liked by everyone he ever met.  He will be remembered for his warm smile and endlessly entertaining stories.  He had an aptitude for building computers and enjoyed playing video games.  He had a varied and diverse civilian career and worked for Arbor Terrace in San Angelo before his retirement.

George is preceded in death by his parents Allen and Janice White as well as his sister Susan Weatherbee.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca, his brother Edward White and wife Tracy of Austin, Texas, and his sister Carol Victor and husband Mike of Zeeland, Michigan, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A private family service will occur at a later date.
